Senior Business Analyst
About the project:
The client is an American community bank that is building an online banking platform on the basis of Mulesoft. Our team will be focused in developing integrations between various SaaS solutions from the client.
The team consists of 20 people now: Mulsoft, Salesforce, DevOps, QA (manual and automation), Data, Business Analysts teams, Solution Architect, Scrum Master, PM, and Security analyst.
There is a part of the team on the client’s side: Mulesoft, DevOps, Data leads, product managers, and product owners.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience as a BA in the IT field;
- 1-2 years of experience in the financial domain;
- Experience analyzing, clarifying, and translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications;
- Experience in preparing and creating specifications for IT products;
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities;
- Practical experience in using modeling tools and notations like BPMN/UML;
- Experience in describing, analyzing and improving business processes;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as business presentation skills;
- General API understanding;
- Experience with Agile;
- Experience with data mapping;
- Experience as a Product Owner;
- Working knowledge of Atlassian product suite (Jira, Confluence);
- At least Upper-Intermediate proficiency in English.
Will be a plus:
- Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance requirements is a plus;

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
- Strong people acumen and relationship skills; Naturally pre-disposed to quickly establish positive personal and professional relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with business subject matter experts to comprehend their roles and responsibilities, and effectively translate them into comprehensive business process flows;
- Managing development backlogs using agile methodologies;
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form into clear and manageable backlog items;
- Document the system (Confluence);
- Work closely with the Business and Engineering teams to develop and maintain the product roadmap.
